Oral and Facial Surgeon

Dr. McLelland grew up in Alberta, Canada and completed his dental school training at the University of Alberta. After a one year General Practice Residency, Dr. McLelland completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. McLelland met his wife Krista in Chicago, Illinois while she was a Pediatric ICU nurse. The McLelland’s have three girls, Kate, Addison and Ava. Kate and Addison are avid soccer players and enjoy Volleyball and school sports. Boating, hiking and travelling are a few of the many activities they enjoy.

Dr. McLelland believes everyone should be treated with the utmost respect and kindness and looks forward to treating patients like his own family members.

Surgical Assistant

Kelly has worked for Dr. McLelland as a surgical assistant since 2004. She is certified in AAOMS, ACLS, PALS, & BLS. She is also a certified instructor in CPR/BLS for healthcare providers. She graduated from Shadle Park High School in 2001, attended SFCC from 2001-2003, and then became a registered dental assistant through Apollo College in 2004. In her spare time, Kelly loves spending time with her family and friends and traveling whenever possible.

Surgical Assistant

Kat has been working in oral surgery since 2009. She also has experience in general and pediatric dentistry. Kat is a CPR Instructor, ACLS, PALS and DAANCE certified. Kat and her husband Drew are happily married and have a sweet daughter named Kendra. She enjoys playing the fiddle, camping and spending time with her friends and family.

Tami has excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. She is a devoted mother and spends her spare time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, photography and gardening.

Billing Specialist

Melanie has been a patient advocate for over 12 years. With experience in dental/medical insurance billing, financial arrangements and patient care. She insists on being a part of a team that helps people achieve the smile and health that they love not only changing their smile but their life. In her spare time she likes to hike, fish and to work in her garden.

Financial Coordinator

Nicole grew up in Spokane Valley, graduated from SFCC, and recently bought a house in Greenacers where she and her husband will raise their two children. She started with our practice as a patient coordinator in 2015 and is now one of our financial coordinators. She works mainly with insurance retrieving benefits, submitting pre-authorizations, and helping our patients understand their benefits and co-insurance. She is a well-rounded individual that learns very quickly. In her free time, you can find her on the field with her softball all-star or in her backyard where she likes to relax, BBQ, and spend time with her family and friends.

Accounts Payable

Jennifer brings with her a background in bookkeeping and accounts payable, she feels very blessed to be working with Dr. McLelland and his wonderful team. When she is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, they enjoy the outdoors and going on family vacations.


Financial Coordinator

Brittany grew up in Spokane and graduated from Mead High School. After high school she went on to pursue her dreams to play collegiate golf at Western Washington University where she also received her degree in Kinesiology. Her original plans were to pursue a career in Physical Therapy by continuing on to get her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After working in the industry she discovered this was not the route for her but she knew she wanted to stay in the healthcare industry. She comes to us having experienced Oral surgery first hand, as she has had a Leforte I along with a genioplasty as well as dental implants. In her spare time she enjoys playing golf, going fishing, hanging out with her family, and just being outdoors.

Surgical Assistant

Hi my name is Cliff, I retired from the United States Force in 2002 and then worked as a patrol deputy for Kootenai County. I returned to school and completed a degree in Surgical Technology and also became a Certified Central Service Technician and Certified Phlebotomist. I worked for Sacred Heart Medical Center then moved to Valley Hospital and worked as surgical technologist in the main operating rooms. I was hired by Spokane County Medical Examiner’s office as an autopsy assistant and death investigator until I retired in Oct 2015. In October 2016, I started working for Dr. Bryan McLelland as a surgical assistant on an as needed basis. I’m am currently a CPR instructor and trained as an instructor in Foundation training. I enjoy outdoor activities and family time.

Lead Surgical Assistant

Shelby holds a degree in dental assisting, as well as multiple certifications in Dental anesthesia assisting, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, basic life support. As well as a CPR certified instructor. Shelby enjoys spending time with her two children watching their multiple sporting events. Having grown up in the Spokane Valley Shelby takes pride in contributing to our cities great way of life and the community she serves and loves.


Surgical Assistant

Kayla is the newest surgical assistant in the team and has been with the practice since February 2017. She started as a sterilization technician and moved up to being an assistant in a few short months. She is currently working on getting her CPR instructor and DAANCE certifications. She is a quick learner, who is dedicated to excellent patient care. She spends her free time playing with her dogs, or going to the local shelters. She also likes singing, spending time with her family and friends, going on tropical vacations! Kayla graduated from University High School in 2014, and is so excited to explore the dental community and what is has to offer.

Surgical Assistant, Special Projects Coordinator

Lindsay has been working in dentistry as a Dental / Surgical assistant for the past 13 years, and with Dr. McLelland for 8 years. She earned her degree from SCC in 2003. Recently she has evolved into our special projects coordinator putting together our CE events. She holds certificates in ACLS, PALS, DAANCE, and is a CPR instructor.

Lindsay is a graduate of Central Valley High School and is married with 3 children ages 11, 9 and 9. In her spare time she enjoys watching her children in their various activities, camping, spending time at the lake, snow skiing, running marathons and half marathons.

Registered Nurse

Heather relocated to Spokane from the Hood River area with her family in 2013. She graduated from Spokane Community College's Nursing program, and is currently working toward a BSN from Boise State University. She is a certified ACLS and BLS provider.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring Spokane and the surrounding area with her husband and two daughters, Hazel and Sylvia. Backpacking, skiing, and just being together at home are some of their favorite family activities. She also enjoys working on home renovation projects, gardening, rowing, and snuggling with her dog, Omaha.


Registered Nurse

Jessica graduated from Whitworth University/ Washington State Intercollegiate College of nursing in 2006 with her bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked in cardiac and OB prior to joining Dr. McLelland and his team in 2008. She enjoys traveling and has a heart for medical missions. She has volunteered in South Africa, Peru, and Guatemala. Jessica and her husband have three children. They enjoy the outdoors, farm life, caring for children and being part of the foster /adopt community.


Nursing Intern

Kate is a senior at Central Valley High School and is taking several classes at Spokane Falls Community College. She enjoys water sports and traveling and spending time with her two sisters. Kate also works at Starbucks and is doing a Nursing Internship at the practice.


Call Center & Medical Records

Megn is from a small town in central Idaho but has traveled all over the world. Most recently she went on a six-month mission trip in South Africa, but she’s also traveled to countries in Europe and Asia. While not traveling to exotic places, Megn enjoys cooking exotic food and reading good books.


Patient Coordinator

Megan was born and raised in Liberty Lake and is a graduate of Eastern Washington University where she studied English Creative Writing. She has over 10 years of experience in customer service and truly has a heart for people. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her friends, and her family doing outdoor activities, traveling, serving at her church, and making art.


Administrative Staff

I have worked as a financial coordinator for 6 years . When not at work I enjoy spending time with my two boys, riding my motorcycle and working in my garden.

Justin is a recent graduate of Central Valley High school, he has an interest in a career in the medical field. He is currently attending classes at Spokane Community College and is training to assist as a scrub technician. He hopes to eventually train to be a surgical assistant. In his spare time with his friends and family enjoying outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and skiing.

Growing up in Spokane Kristin has a great love for the outdoors. In her free time she enjoys gardening, camping and riding motorcycles. More than all of that she loves spending time with her two girls. Watching them compete in their various sporting activities has been great, but watching them grow into the fantastic young women they are is even better.

Desiree's educational background is in pre-medicine with a biology major and a chemistry minor. Her previous medical experience is in toxicology and virology testing, but she also has experience as a server/bartender. She prides herself in being well-rounded. She is an Eastern Washington University alumni and is a diehard Gonzaga basketball and Seattle Seahawks fan. Her true passion though are her three children and being able to spend time with and do exciting activities with them.


Surgical Assistant

Vanessa graduated from Spokane Community College in 2016 and 2018. She loves the outside. Especially hiking, snowboarding, and riding around on a motorcycle. Took a trip in 2017, alone to New Zealand. Met up with a tour group and had some amazing adrenaline filled adventures like bungee jumping off a bridge, base jumping from a tower, and skydiving off a plane from 15,000 ft.

Jennifer has always loved making a positive impact and excited to be part of the Liberty team. She loves helping the people she as it has always been a primary focus in her life. When she is not at work she loves to train for triathlons with her friends, and hanging out with her 4 kids and husband.


Social Media Coordinator

Charles Allen is the video and graphics guy. He received his degree in graphic design and media arts in 2015, having started out professionally as a wedding and events photographer, and videographer. Ever since 2012 he has worked in marketing, doing graphics and video production work, as well as portrait and sports photography. Charles likes to keep himself busy, so outside or work he tends to do more work: he makes short films, publishes short stories, reads, illustrates and travels. He can also be seen hanging out at his son's baseball games.



Samantha grew up in the Seattle area of Washington for most of her life and only recently moved to the Spokane area with family. When she isn't working she enjoys reading and writing at home with her 2 cats or taking a bike ride with her friends. She has a passion for literature and is in the process of writing her first fantasy novel.

I grew up in a small town in western Washington. I began taking classes with the intent of becoming an early childhood teacher, until I met my husband and moved to Spokane in 2014. I began a career in phlebotomy and continued to diversify my job experience throughout the years. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with loved ones, working on house projects and going on adventures with our two dogs.
